Design Session - $999 for 6 hours
(In-Home or Virtual)

Every home has a story. During your design session, we uncover yours and translate it into a space that feels warm, inviting, and beautifully put together.
All recommendations are made with transparency - no markups on items I source, and any designer discounts I receive are passed directly to you.
We start with a meeting, either in your home or over Zoom, where you walk me through the space and we work from the ground up: the feeling you want, layout flow, furniture direction, color, lighting, textiles, and the key layers that will elevate the room.
The design session includes up to six hours of design time, divided between:
• our live walkthrough
• sourcing key pieces (flooring, window treatment, furniture, storage solutions, art.....)
• refining layout ideas
• answering your follow-up questions
• reviewing photos you send
• making sure you have a clear, confident plan to move forward
If a few small adjustments are possible while I’m there - and they’re light enough to move - I’m happy to shift things around so you can get a clearer sense of the layout.
Most clients end this process with a defined direction and a plan they can follow step-by-step. You’re welcome to reach out with questions during your included design hours, and if you’d ever like additional support beyond that, it can always be added as needed.
If you’d like more support afterward - more sourcing, in-person shopping, installation, assembly, or supervising trades like window-treatment installers, I offer additional help at $150/hour or a flat fee depending on the scope.
How It Works

Step 1: Walkthrough (In-Home or Virtual)
You walk me through the space, and I ask tons and tons of questions - the fun kind that help me understand how you live, what you love, what’s not working, and the direction you want your home to go. It’s easy-going, conversational, and gives me a clear sense of your taste, your routine, and the feeling you want the space to have.

Step 2 : The Design Process (From the Ground Up)
Once I understand your vision, we work through the design from the ground up, literally.
Define the Story
That feeling you want the space to have, calm, cozy, airy, refined , this guides everything.
Flooring
We start at the bottom: the floors. They set the tone for warmth, palette, rug direction, and the overall balance of the room.
Walls & Color
Next, we talk about the walls, undertones, brightness, warmth, softness, and how color can transform the mood completely.
Lighting
Overhead lights, lamps, warmth, ambiance — we look at where you need more brightness and where you need more glow.
Layout Flow
Then we explore the natural flow of the room and how furniture placement can make the space feel more open, grounded, and inviting.
Furniture
Size, proportion, material, shape, what stays, what goes, what’s missing, and what will elevate the room.
Textiles
Rugs, curtains, softness, texture — the layers that bring the room to life.
Accents
The finishing touches: art, décor, meaningful pieces, and visual balance.
Nature & Plants
Greenery adds warmth, life, and that effortless sense of home.
Throughout the process:
If a few small adjustments are possible while I’m there, and they’re light enough to move, I’m happy to shift things around so you can get a clearer sense of the layout.

Step 3 : Follow-Up Design Work
After the walkthrough, I use your remaining design hours behind the scenes to source key pieces, refine layout options, review photos, help you choose between options, and guide your decisions.
If needed, I can also coordinate or supervise trades like window-treatment installers.

Step 4 : Your Next Steps (Flexible Support)
You’ll leave with clarity about what comes next and the options I recommend for your home.
If you want to move forward on your own, you can, and if you’d prefer more support, I’m available to help with installation, assembly, shopping, or continued design help as much or as little as you’d like.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the $999 include?
Up to six hours of design time. Part of that is our walkthrough, and the rest is the follow-up work I do behind the scenes — sourcing key pieces, refining layout options, reviewing photos, answering your questions, and guiding your decisions.
How long is the walkthrough?
Usually 1–2 hours, depending on your home and how much we explore together.
Do I need to be present for all six hours?
No. You only need to be present for the walkthrough. The rest is my design work — done on your behalf.
Do you move furniture during the walkthrough?
If a few small adjustments are possible while I’m there, and they’re light enough to move, I’m happy to shift things around so you can get a clearer sense of the layout.
Do you charge a markup on items?
No, I don’t apply any markup to the items I source. I want you to feel completely at ease knowing that every recommendation I make is guided by what suits your home best, not by the possibility of a higher commission. The design itself is always the priority.

Do I get your designer discounts?
Yes. Any designer or trade discounts available to me are passed directly to you.
Can I reach out with questions afterward?
Of course. Your remaining session hours include messaging support for questions and photos you want me to look at.
What if I want more help after the session ends?
I offer additional support for installation, assembly, shopping, sourcing, or supervising trades at $150/hour or a flat fee depending on the scope. You can choose as much or as little help as you’d like.
Do you help with window treatments, lighting installers, or other trades?
Yes. If you need someone there while installers come by, or want help choosing the right things beforehand, I can support you with that.
