Los Angeles Homes Deserve More Than Generic Design
In Los Angeles, the house usually tells you what it needs. Within a few miles you'll pass a red-tile Spanish Colonial Revival in Los Feliz, a brick Tudor on a Hancock Park lawn, a post-and-beam mid-century above the Silver Lake Reservoir and a converted warehouse loft in the Arts District. Each one was built for a different way of living, and each attracts a different buyer.
That's why we never apply one "LA look." We start by reading the architecture: what's original, what's worth keeping, and what's holding the space back. Then we design around it, whether that means warming up a loft's concrete and steel or letting a 1920s fireplace and its original tile lead the room.

The Elements of Los Angeles Style
Light
Southern California sun is the city's best design material. We place furniture, mirrors and window treatments to work with it, so a north-facing Los Feliz living room glows and a west-facing Hollywood Hills room stays comfortable at sunset.
Architecture
Los Angeles may have the widest mix of residential styles in the country: Spanish Colonial Revival, Craftsman, Tudor, Hollywood Regency, mid-century post-and-beam and converted industrial lofts, often on the same few miles of hillside.
Character
LA homeowners collect: vintage finds from the Rose Bowl Flea Market, art from local studios, pieces with a story. We blend those with new furniture so a home feels personal and curated, never like a showroom.
Design Note: Many 1920s and 1930s Los Angeles homes still have their original coved ceilings, arched doorways and decorative tile. Buyers pay for those details, so we design around them, never over them.
